What a wonderful thing gardening is! We recently added a honey crisp apple, satsuma plum, and pear tree to our little orchard and Glenn put in 6 blue berry bushes! Seeds are sprouting like crazy on the sun porch and it has been snowing for the past two days. Just when we think that spring has arrived, winter dumps another load of snow. We also plant heirloom tomatos, I have some heirloom eggplant seeds going and if we don't get the cool breeze cucumber seeds in soon it will be too late to start them. I would love to have chickens but we can get fresh eggs from 4H kids every day so no chickens for me. We added a puppy to our household last fall and he is already huge! He is a Chesepeake Bay Retriever and out of the same pair as our 4 year old Chese - Aspen Whiskey. Life is good. It was nice to see your recent postings.
